MIRROR AI

PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: October 28, 2025

Mirror AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Mirror AI mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). TrTech is responsible for the processing of Personal Information in the Mirror AI app. TrTech is based in Rishon LeZion, Israel and you can contact us via aihairstyle32@gmail.com.

Mirror AI is an artificial intelligence-powered photo editing application that uses advanced machine learning algorithms to transform your photos with AI-driven hairstyle effects. We understand that when you use our Service, you are entrusting us with your personal information and visual content, and we take this responsibility seriously.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Mirror AI application, whether you access it through mobile devices or other platforms. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Service.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully and contact us if you have any questions or concerns about our privacy practices. We are committed to transparency in our data handling practices and will always strive to protect your privacy while providing you with the best possible user experience.

We may update this Privacy Policy according to changes in our service functions and measures concerning the protection of Personal Information. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update it through our App. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

We collect minimal personal information from you. We use a device-based identification system that does not require traditional account creation. We collect your device identifier to provide you with a personalized experience and track your subscription status and credits.

If you choose to sign up using third-party services such as Google, Facebook, or Apple, we may receive additional information from these platforms, depending on your privacy settings with those services.

1.2 Visual Content and Face Data

Mirror AI does NOT retain face data. Your facial images have ZERO (0) seconds of retention in our systems.

When you upload photos with facial images to Mirror AI, here's what happens:

  • On Your Device: Photos exist only in device memory during your active session
  • During Transmission: Images are encrypted via HTTPS and sent directly to Google Gemini API (NOT stored on our servers)
  • In Our Systems: We do not store, save, or retain facial images at any time
  • After Processing: Generated images exist only in your app session and are deleted when you close the app or navigate away

Generated images exist temporarily in your app session only. To keep a generated image, you must manually save it to your device using the share button. When you close the app, all generated images are permanently deleted from memory.

Third-Party Processing: Google Gemini API

Who We Share Face Data With: We share your facial images with Google LLC through their Gemini 2.5 Flash Image API.

Why We Share: Google Gemini API performs the AI-powered hairstyle transformation, which is the core functionality of our app. This processing cannot be done on your device alone due to the computational requirements of advanced AI models.

Google's Data Retention Practices:

  • Processing: Google processes images in-memory and deletes them immediately after generating your hairstyle transformation (typically 3-20 seconds)
  • Abuse Monitoring: Google retains a copy of submitted images for up to 55 days solely for abuse detection, policy enforcement, and security threat monitoring
  • Training: Google does NOT use your images to train or improve their AI models
  • Why 55 Days: This is the minimum time Google requires to effectively monitor for abuse, violations of Google's Acceptable Use Policy, illegal content, and security threats
